Healing a Nation

So how do we heal a nation and make its people prosperous so we can all be free to be ourselves? Through knowledge.

We all need a lesson on the human psyche. We need to understand how our own psyche develops and works. We have to start teaching this everywhere to everyone. We have to teach it in the education system to teachers, staff, students and parents. We have to teach it in the judicial system to judges, attorneys, prosecutors, police officers, to prison guards and inmates.

Educating a nation on how you cure evil, on how you really stop bad things from happening, will take decades. But imagine what America will look like when we all feel good about ourselves and others. Having a far more emotionally intelligent society will shrink the gap between the rich and the poor. It will lower crime rates and divorce rates, meaning stronger families. It would all around make America and the world a safer and better place to live.

Everyone

Participation is free!

BUT IT WILL BE HARD WORK AND YOU WILL FAIL A LOT.  YOU CAN NOT HAVE SUCCESS WITHOUT HARD WORK AND FAILURE BECAUSE GROWTH COMES FROM FAILURE!

How?

First ask yourself Why? a lot. Why do I believe this, why do I prefer that? Why do I do this; or that? Why do I feel this emotion? Why do I feel that emotion? Do this until you realize that a large portion of who you are was determined by your environment and your experiences and not because that's just the way it is.

Realizing is not even half the battle. Now you have to put the hard work into learning about your self. Whatever your strongest beliefs are, the ones that make you feel anger or hatred; go find someone who feels the opposite and hear their story. Imagine yourself living their story and try to feel what they feel.

Spend time everyday, even if it's just for 5 minutes enriching yourself. Here are some ways you can do that.

  • Meditation

  • Ted Talks, visit our Facebook page for great Talks.

College Students

Project HPF National Youth Society

Are you a student or young adolescent?

You can participate by joining our campus organizations around the country.

How?

Project HPF is building youth organizations all around the country with two main goals in mind.

1) To affect the way individuals going into key public service careers, such as the media and judicial fields, perceive and relate to the people they will be affecting.

2) To introduce individuals going into those same key fields to alternatives to monetary punishment, incarceration and public shaming.

Participants in the organization will seek out and raise awareness and money for non-profit foundations that are creating lasting solutions to reducing homelessness, addiction and poverty which are the leading causes of crime and incarceration. Organizations like The Otherside AcademyMobile Loaves & FishesJohn Volken Academy and hundreds more like them just in America.

By creating these organizations we have a unique opportunity to help young people going into fields that have potential influence over society's perceptions to unlearn their negative perspectives of society and re-imagine a more compassionate one. If we can imagine a better society, then we can create it.

We are searching for unique individuals all around the country who may feel strongly about our message and want to participate in changing the world by having an impact on the world around them.

Do you feel strongly about our message and want to contribute to our mission? Please let us know! We'd love to discuss.

Or, maybe you know of a student or adolescent who may be interested in participating? If so, please connect us to them
